We are seeking a Designer with 0–3 years of experience in commercial architecture to support projects from initial concept through design development and construction documentation. If you are proficient in Revit, excited about sectors like life science, tech, and workplace design, and eager to learn from experienced mentors while contributing fresh ideas, we want to hear from you. As a designer at DGA, you will:
- Work from the designs of others under supervision,
- Perform routine and limited architectural assignments.Â
- Perform specific/limited portion of assignments using prescribed methods.Â
- Start to use judgement on work details with guidance
- Work on assignments that may include higher-level work for training/development purposes.
- Be responsible for assisting in the preparation of architectural design and working drawings.
- work on design sketches, layouts, details and graphic presentations.Â
- Be involved in all phases of the design process including programming, schematic design, design development, construction documentation, and construction administration
You'll bring to DGA:
- Entry Level professional experience (including internships)
- Degree from an accredited architectural program
- Proficiency with Revit and other complex computer modeling softwareÂ
- Strong 3D visualization skills.
- Experience with AutoCAD, Dynamo and Grasshopper is a plus.
- Fluency with Adobe Creative Suite.
- Experience with real-time rendering engines (e.g., Enscape, Twin Motion, etc.) to generate still images and animations, and fluency with Adobe Creative Suite
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite [Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint]
- Effective interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organizational skills
- On the path to architectural licensure

At the time of posting this job advertisement, the annual pay salary range for this position is between $80,000 to $94,000 commensurate with qualifications
