Job Coach

Community Interface Services hiring a Job Coach! This position earns a starting range of $23-25 per hour, with an open Monday-Friday and some Saturdays schedule. Plenty of training and professional growth opportunities are available, and you can earn a $1 increase upon completion of your Career Jumpstart Program!

Key Responsibilities

As a Job Coach, you will be supporting individuals with disabilities working within the Carlsbad to Cardiff area. Your responsibilities will include supporting prioritizing tasks, completing their work efficiently, and facilitating the relationship between the employer and the person you support. You are not responsible for their work but rather advocate for any support or accommodation needed at work. By offering personalized job coaching, you will help individuals develop their skills and confidence in the workplace, empowering them to thrive in their roles.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma required, some college preferred

• CA Driver's license, a working vehicle, and at least two years of driving experience

Patience and empathy will be key as you provide guidance and encouragement, fostering a supportive environment. Problem-solving skills are necessary to navigate challenges that may arise in the workplace and to help individuals overcome barriers. A proactive approach and adaptability will allow you to tailor your coaching methods to suit each person's unique abilities, driving their success within their workplace.
