About the Role:
BrightStar Care of N. Central San Diego is looking for compassionate and dedicated CNAs and Caregivers to join our growing team in San Diego, CA. This is your opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of clients and families who need you most — every single day.
Responsibilities:
- Provide personal care assistance including bathing, grooming, dressing, and hygiene support
- Assist clients with mobility, transfers, and ambulation to ensure safety and comfort
- Monitor and document client health status, reporting changes to supervising nurses
- Administer medication reminders and assist with prescribed care plans
- Offer companionship and emotional support to clients and their families
- Perform light housekeeping, meal preparation, and errand assistance
- Deliver in-home care services in accordance with BrightStar Care's high standards of quality
Requirements:
- Current CNA certification or prior caregiving experience
- Valid California CNA license (for CNA applicants)
- HCA or willingness to obtain
- CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to obtain
- Tuberculosis test of willingness to obtain
- Physical exam or willingness to obtain
- Reliable transportation and valid driver's license
- Compassionate, patient, and dependable with a client-first attitude
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
- Strong communication skills and ability to work independently
