Part-time laboratory technician (~20hrs/week) duties include:

- Preparing reagents
- Maintaining Lab cleanliness and organization
- Basic molecular biology techniques
- Sampling/Dissection of animal tissue
- Inventory of large sample projects
- Maintain meticulous project records



Experience in the above skills is desired but not required. Full training available for motivated candidates. B.S. degree NOT required. College Freshman or Sophomore students perusing degrees in science related disciplines preferred but not required.

This is a 20hr Part-time position. (M-F 9am-5pm during training; after training and evaluation employees may schedule weekend and off time business hours to work). The schedule must be approved by CAT.

Applicants must have their own transportation and be available to start within 1 week of being offered the position (candidates available to start as soon as possible preferred).

Candidates should possess a meticulous nature, have an excellent and energetic work ethic and willing to learn. Candidates should also be able to work independently and with others. They should also be willing to perform repetitive tasks.
