Position: Manager III, Software Dev - AMZ27948.1

Multiple Positions Available:
Own the design, architecture, development, testing, deployment, and delivery of large-scale, multi-tiered, distributed software applications, systems, platforms, services or technologies using Java, C++, service-oriented architecture, and distributed programming. Provide technical leadership and project management for all aspects of the software development lifecycle for distributed software systems. Build, manage, and develop a team of engineers, provide mentoring, and manage resource allocation. Lead design reviews for engineers, and drive feedback on architecture and design issues. Participate in strategic planning to achieve technical and business objectives, and define technical direction.
(40 hours / week, 8:00am-5:00pm, Salary Range $212700 - $287700)

#0000 Basic Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field and one year of experience in the job offered, or as a Software Engineer, Software Developer, or a related occupation. Must have one year of experience in the following skill(s): providing technical leadership and project management for all aspects of the software development lifecycle; and developing large-scale, multi-tiered distributed software systems using Java, C#, or C++; service-oriented architecture; and distributed programming.
The pay range for this position in San Francisco, CA is $212700 - $287700 (yr); however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. A sign-on bonus and restricted stock units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position offered.
