Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Entry Screening in San Francisco, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer supporting a commercial real estate location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, assist with access control, and provide outstanding customer service to tenants and visitors. You will communicate professionally, respond to security-related concerns, and contribute to a welcoming environment. Pay Rate: $27.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, contractors, and/or property management personnel while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and policies.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of commercial property common areas, building perimeters, entrances, parking areas, and/or other designated locations to help identify unusual activity or conditions.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site procedures, and report unauthorized access attempts, suspicious behavior, and/or maintenance concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response procedures and communicating with property management and emergency services as needed.
• Complete accurate daily activity reports, incident reports, and patrol documentation, and communicate relevant information during shift handoffs.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
