The salary range for this temp position is $61.10 - $72.00 per hour. Offered salary is dependent upon experience and San Francisco location. This is a hybrid role based in our downtown San Francisco office – Tues through Thursday in-office, with Monday and Friday remote.

 

The Kendo house of brands currently includes: Fenty Beauty, Fenty Skin, Fenty Eau de Parfum, Fenty Hair, Ole Henriksen, Lip Lab.

 

SUMMARY   

This Operation Planning position is a hybrid role focusing on our rapid international expansion. This position will be the lead from the Operation side to support a new “go-to-market” initiative.  The role will be responsible to build and manage the end-to-end demand and supply planning processes while supporting project timelines on market launch.  They will work closely with Brand and Project Manager to ensure success of market launches and provide holistic supply planning strategy to support long term business growth.  They will also work cross functionally with Demand Planning, Brands, Global Fulfillment, Merchandise Planning on regular basis to review business risk, performance goals, as well as company’s growth.  The ideal candidate should be business savvy with understanding of the financial impacts to their decision, able to build strong internal partnership with cross functional teams, and able to drive result through ambiguity.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Responsible for the supply chain operational plan to support demand and inventory targets.
  • Manage market specific inventory; analyze any potential inventory risks, overstock, expiry management. Partner with cross functional teams to strategically mitigate budget gap or liabilities.
  • Inventory risk reporting and responsible for communicating and escalating significant supply problems, assess root cause and resolution to supply shortage. (ie. Newness and At Risk)
  • Support ad hoc projects while understanding of shelf life requirement and inventory timing
  • Review forecast with understanding of sales strategy plans to ensure ERP forecast correctly reflects business objectives
  • Engage with key stakeholders to understand organizational structure, business processes, and related roles and responsibilities to identify process streamline opportunities
  • Lead in developing any new operational process with cross functional teams to support new market requirements
  • Managing risks throughout change initiatives by conducting risk analysis comparing current state to future state processes and procedures, and developing related mitigation plans
  • Identify and analyze supply chain disruptions and challenges, partner with cross functional business teams, communicate risks and impacts.
  • Work closely with Supply Chain team to partner with contract manufacturers to identify options and/or solutions.
  • Identify continuous improvement opportunities for existing process and execute cross functionally aligned business strategy.

 

REQUIREMENTS

  • BA / BS Degree required.
  • APICS CPIM or CSCP certification preferred but not required.
  • Minimum combined of 5-7 years’ experience in any of these areas: Change Management, Materials Management, Procurement, Production, Supply Planning, Demand Planning, Logistics, and/or Change management.
  • Minimum of 3+ years related work experience leading New Production Launches (NPL) projects (Cosmetic Industry preferred).
  • In depth knowledge of the MRP, scheduling, capacity planning and financial objectives and works to ensure MRP best reflects the execution schedule.
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in ERP/MRP system (Dynamic365 is a plus).
  • Intermediate Excel skills required (V-lookups, pivot tables, and formula entry a must).
  • Strong analytical, critical thinking, problem solving, managing, and measuring work, and process management skills preferred.
  • Manage the communication of status, risk disposition to all stakeholders, including senior management, on a timely manner
  • Ability to balance strategic thinking with process-oriented execution with highly focused attention to details Clear and concise verbal and written communication
  • Able to professionally communicate clearly: verbally and written.
