Facilities Technician

Summary
As a Facilities Technician, you will support the daily maintenance, safety, and efficient operation of our facilities. You will perform routine inspections and basic repairs, coordinate with service providers, maintain facility and safety equipment, and assist with workplace setup and facility improvement projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with general maintenance repairs and tasks including:
- Perform routine inspections and repairs of building systems (e.g. HVAC, electrical, plumbing, etc).
- Coordinate minor repairs and liaise with external contractors and service providers.
- Monitor facility equipment and report issues promptly.
- Maintain safety equipment (fire extinguishers, eyewash stations, emergency lighting).
- Assist in tracking service contracts and vendor documentation.
- Assist with office moves, workstation setups, and furniture assembly.
- Monitor inventory of facility supplies and reorder as needed.
- Support the continued improvement of facility operations by proactively identifying opportunities for enhancing system performance and reliability.
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned by the supervisor.
- Basic knowledge of HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems.
- Basic knowledge of building codes, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced, and high-pressure environment.
- Excellent organizational skills with a strong commitment to deadlines and production objectives.
- High school diploma or equivalent required. Technical certification preferred.
