Operational Execution & Inventory Control

  • Logistics Oversight: Direct all shipping, receiving, and storage activities to guarantee order accuracy and optimize component and finished goods storage.
  • Inventory Accuracy & Audits: Maintain system inventory accuracy, execute obsolete inventory disposal, and partner with Finance to coordinate physical audits and inventories.
  • BOM Collaboration: Serve as the primary departmental liaison with engineering teams on product configurations and Bills of Materials (BOMs).

Team Leadership & Continuous Improvement

  • Team Development: Supervise, train, and develop a dedicated team of planners, warehouse, and shipping personnel to drive high performance and career growth.
  • Performance Metrics: Establish, track, and analyze Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to enhance operational efficiency and maximize inventory turns.
  • Process Optimization: Review current operational practices to develop, select, and allocate resources effectively while driving continuous improvement.

Position Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
  • Experience: Minimum 10 years of experience in materials control.
  • Leadership Experience: 3 to 5+ years supervising, managing, training, and developing teams (specifically warehouse, shipping, and planning personnel).
  • Industry Domain: Substantial practical application of SIOP and SOE methodologies, experience reading/managing BOMs, and working directly with engineering on product configurations.
