What will I be doing?

  • Performing bank and credit card reconciliations, managing general ledger entries, and preparing financial statements
  • Handling full-cycle payroll including quarterly filings, W-2s, and 1099s
  • Managing accounts payable and receivable functions, including payment processing and deposits
  • Conducting trust accountings and financial data analysis to support client operations
  • Implementing tailored accounting processes based on client needs
  • Maintaining accurate documentation and records, including invoice coding and client file setup
  • Supporting accounting staff with administrative tasks such as scanning, filing, and vendor communications
  • Collaborating with clients to understand their financial needs and provide customized solutions

What skills and knowledge should I have?

  • Minimum of 4 years of accounting and bookkeeping experience preferred
  • Associate’s degree or equivalent; CPB and QBO ProAdvisor certifications are highly valued
  • Experience with QuickBooks Desktop and Online, including consulting and troubleshooting
  • Strong understanding of accounting practices and rules
  • Effective time management and ability to handle multiple engagements
  • High level of accuracy in data entry and financial documentation
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
  • Professional integrity and ability to handle confidential information

  • Timely and accurate completion of financial reports and reconciliations
  • Quality of client interactions and responsiveness to their needs
