Role Overview:
In this role, you will be involved in various aspects of serving our customers and community members in our pro-shop and office. Primary responsibilities include managing day-to-day tasks, and providing customer support in escalated situations, and managing the overall workflow at the front desk during your shift. In the Assistant Manager role, you will be the primary person responsible for managing day-to-day details as they come up when the Managing Director is not onsite. The Assistant Manager is responsible, dependable, and equipped to handle minor operational or customer service situations / decisions as well as take action to forward any larger issues to appropriate individuals.
Responsibilities:
- Greeting Patrons and assisting with general inquiries (in person, by phone, and email)
- Enforce company policies and guidelines with customers
- Opening or closing the facility (depending on the shift)
- Registering students for programs and leagues
- Reserving and managing courts
- Managing USTA courts & other off site satelite courts
- Racquet stringing (training available)
- Additional administration duties
- Training new CSR hires
- Cleaning, disinfecting, and maintenance of the facility, pro-shop, restrooms, and courts (squeegeeing and rolling courts, blowing leaves)
- Any other duties as assigned by the site Managing Director
Additional Skills:
Computer (Mac OS, Office Suite, Internet, E-mail, CourtReserve - training available)
Schedule:
Full Time - 35-40 hours per week
Compensation / Benefits:
- $26 - $42/hour
