Description The Director of Finance will oversee all aspects of financial planning, reporting, budgeting, forecasting, international finance operations, and strategic financial management. The role will manage financial activities across multiple international entities, while ensuring consistency, compliance, and operational excellence across the organization. This individual will lead the development of a unified finance organization, manage local financial agents and advisors in international markets, and provide executive-level financial leadership to support growth and scalability.
Key Responsibilities
  • Lead financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and long-range financial modeling.
  • Provide strategic financial guidance to executive leadership and support business growth initiatives.
  • Develop KPI reporting, performance metrics, and executive-level financial analysis.
  • Prepare Board, investor, and management reporting packages and presentations.
  • Support fundraising, capital raising, and strategic finance activities.
  • Oversee finance operations across multiple international entities and jurisdictions.
  • Manage relationships with external auditors, tax advisors, financial agents, and regulatory partners.
  • Ensure compliance with local and international financial, tax, and statutory requirements.
  • Strengthen financial controls, governance, policies, and reporting processes.
  • Build and maintain a unified global finance function that supports organizational growth.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
  • Hands-on, proactive, and results-oriented.
  • 10+ years of progressive finance leadership experience.
  • Working knowledge of U.S. GAAP and international accounting, tax, compliance, and statutory reporting requirements.
  • Strong background in FP&A, corporate finance, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
  • Experience supporting fundraising, capital raising, debt financing, and strategic finance initiatives.
  • Experience managing international finance operations across multiple entities and jurisdictions.
  • Experience managing external auditors, tax advisors, banking relationships, and regulatory stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to support executive teams, Boards of Directors, investors, and fundraising activities.
  • Strong financial modeling, analytical, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Exceptional financial analysis and planning capabilities.
  • Strategic and business-minded leader.
  • Ability to thrive in fast-paced, high-growth environments.
Preferred Qualifications
  • CPA, CFA, MBA, or equivalent professional designation preferred.
  • Experience building or scaling finance organizations in high-growth startup or private company environments.
  • Semiconductor, technology, manufacturing, or hardware industry experience.
  • Experience supporting venture-backed companies and investor relations activities.
  • Proven success building global finance processes and infrastructure to support international growth.
  • Strategic, business-minded leader with the ability to balance long-term planning and near-term execution.
