Pacific Coast Post-Acute is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our premier in-house rehabilitation program in Salinas.

We offer a collaborative, supportive environment with advanced therapy resources, mentorship, and opportunities for professional growth. Our rehabilitation program includes a large therapy gym and a fully equipped ADL Suite designed for practical, real-world functional training.

Key Responsibilities

  • Evaluate residents and develop individualized occupational therapy treatment plans.

  • Provide evidence-based interventions to improve functional independence, ADLs, cognition, and upper-extremity function.

  • Utilize the ADL Suite for realistic, goal-oriented functional training.

  • Collaborate with residents, families, physicians, nursing staff, and the interdisciplinary therapy team.

  • Supervise COTAs in accordance with California practice guidelines.

  • Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.

  • Participate in care conferences, discharge planning, and quality improvement initiatives.

  • Educate residents and caregivers on adaptive techniques, home programs, safety, and equipment use.

Qualifications

  • Current California Occupational Therapist (OT) license in good standing.

  • Strong clinical reasoning, communication, and organizational skills.

  • Commitment to resident-centered care and interdisciplinary teamwork.

  • New graduates are welcome to apply.
