Position Responsibilities:
• Set-up material/machine according to the daily run list
• Review and update run list
• Initial startup of day for all materials to be used for packaging as assigned
• Maintain cleanliness of area each day
• Maintain customers guidelines are being met on the floor
• Monitor materials during product change to ensure customer compliance
• Maintain work schedule followed on the floor
• Complete daily paperwork
• Ability to assign duties and direct members as needed
• Follow all customer glove policies
• Must follow all company Hazard Analysis & Critical Control Point (HACCP) rules and Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP).
• Ability to comply with the strictest standards for animal welfare and to report incidents of abuse neglect, or breach of biosecurity to preserve the health and welfare of our birds
Qualifications:
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• For internal transfers you must have no written warnings for attendance or conduct.
•Follows standard operating procedures (SOP) and training material requirements and can assist new members and/or cross-training members.
• Must be able to pass job required Observation and Assessment on LMS (by Lead/Supervisor)
• Willing to work a flexible schedule to include weekends and holidays as assigned
• Does not own or maintain routine contact with swine or birds
Physical Demands:
• Ability to perform essential functions of the job with or without reasonable accommodations
• Ability to remain standing and/or walking for extended periods of time on concrete floors
• Ability to stoop, bend, climb, and lift at least 25 lbs. continuously throughout the day
Safety:
• Follow all company safety rules
• Proper PPE
• All safety courses complete
• Report any safety concerns to Supervisor
• LOTO Authorized based on job duties
• Powered Industrial Trucks – certified
