Electrical Helper/Apprentice - Sarasota Area

Erwin Electric, Inc. is looking for Electrical Apprentices. We provide on-the-job training as well as Accredited Apprenticeship classes to prepare you for your career in the Electrical Field. If you have a solid work ethic, and a willingness to learn. Erwin Electric, Inc. has immediate openings Sarasota Service Department. Whether you are brand new to the trade or have some prior experience, we offer a competitive pay and full benefits package while you are on the path to earning your Journeyman Card.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with Lead Electricians on a variety of Service Projects.
• Learn all aspects of electrical construction while you are enrolled in apprenticeship training.
• Learn and implement the National Electrical Code and Electrical Theory in both your day-to-day tasks as well as in a classroom setting
• Advancement opportunities exist from helper to job lead (with company vehicle) in as little as 3 years for highly motivated individuals.

Qualifications

• Excellent work ethic & a can-do attitude.
• Follow instructions of supervisors and senior co-workers.
• Be safety-minded and adhere to all company safety protocols.
• Be reliable and put in a full days of work. 
• Provide your own basic hand tools.
• Be physically able to lift 50 lbs.
• Have reliable transportation to job sites
