Job Summary

MacLean-Fogg is hiring a Press Operator - 2nd Shift at our Savanna, Illinois manufacturing facility. In this role, you will safely operate mechanical equipment, verify product quality, and troubleshoot basic equipment issues.

  • Location: Savanna, IL

  • Work Arrangement: On-site

  • Schedule: 2nd Shift, Monday-Friday, 3:00 PM-11:30 PM

  • Pay: $17.00-$19.00/hour, depending on experience

  • Other Compensation: $2.00 shift differential for 2nd shift

  • Employment Type: Full-time / Hourly

What You'll Do as a Press Operator

  • Operate assigned mechanical equipment safely and efficiently.

  • Ensure produced items meet quality control requirements.

  • Perform basic equipment troubleshooting and make necessary adjustments.

  • Use basic measuring instruments to verify product specifications.

  • Read and interpret blueprints when applicable.

  • Complete first-piece inspections as needed.

  • Complete production and quality documents fully and accurately.

  • Follow all safety, environmental, and quality policies and procedures.

  • Basic mathematical skills.

Work Environment & Physical Requirements

  • This role involves repeatedly lifting up to 50 pounds.

  • The position requires pushing and pulling objects weighing up to 50 pounds.

  • Frequent bending and stooping are required.

  • The role requires the dexterity to handle small objects.
