The Chain Stores Sales Apprentice is an entry-level position in our sales organization that allows an associate to prepare for a Sales Representative role at United.   The position involves running vacation routes for Sales Representatives, performing sales deliveries to customers, merchandising and building displays, managing and rotating inventory, and building relationships with both customers and various departments within United.  This position is perfect for a self-motivated, competitive individual who thrives in situations requiring a high level of collaboration, organization, interpersonal skills, and creativity.   Qualifications•    Must be 21 years or older •    High school or vocational school diploma or GED equivalent required •    One year of sales experience preferred •    Valid driver’s license in the applicable state, state minimum auto-liability insurance, an acceptable driving record, and the ability to maintain these minimum administrative driving requirements throughout employment •    Ability to secure and maintain a State Alcohol Sales Permit in accordance with state laws Responsibilities: •    Work with sales team members to train and understand all facets of the United sales representative role •    Drive to all call points •    Perform sales deliveries to customers.
