Pay Range: $19.45-$25.05/hr based on verifiable direct care experience (This range reflects 20 years of experience) Schenectady: shifts Sunday 9am - 9pm; Monday 12pm - Tuesday 12pm back on Tuesday 3pm - 9pm; Weds 12pm-5pm (40 hours) Wed 5pm to 9pm, Thurs 9am to 9pm, Fri 9am to 9pm and Sat 9am to 9pm = (40 hours) Thursday 9am to 9pm Saturday 9am to 9pm and Sunday 9am to 9pm (36 hours) Sunday: 1pm to 11pm, Monday: 1pm to 11pm, Tuesday: 1pm to 11pm, Friday: 11am - 7pm (40 hours) Wed: 5pm-11pm, Thu: 9am -9pm, Fri: 11am - 9pm, Saturday: 9am - 9pm (40 hours) Thurs-Sat 9pm-9am -7 hours per night are asleep hours and paid at the asleep rate; 15 hours at your pay rate. Requirements Education/Experience: High school diploma or general education degree (GED) Successful candidates will: be positive and encouraging with those they support. be professional have patience and a positive attitude have a strong desire to help others enjoy teamwork What does a Direct Support Professional do in a residential setting? Help the people who live there by assisting them in activities, like: Cooking Doing laundry Running errands Teach people with disabilities how to do things on their own Job duties may include: Taking individuals to appointments and activities Writing notes as needed. Helping individuals with tasks like cooking, cleaning, showering, toileting, shopping, and managing money x Qualifications Other Requirements: A valid NYS license and clean driving record required Ability to lift 50 lbs
