Patient Care Aide - Highlands Emergency Department - FT - 1st Shift

Overview

The Patient Care Aide is responsible for assisting in the care of patients under the direction of an RN and LPN.

Responsibilities

• Observe professional ethics in maintaining confidential information acquired regarding personal, financial, medical or employment of patients, families and employees.• Demonstrate the ability to do Vital signs and document.• Assist with total patient care and assists with activities of daily living.• Properly utilize PPE, infection control practices, and proper lifting techniques with proper body mechanics without causing injury to patient, self, or others.• Communicates with the RN or LPN on all aspects of patient care.
