Position Summary:Â
The EDI Manager is responsible for leading the organization's Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) strategy, integration architecture, and daily operations. This role oversees the design, development, implementation, and support of EDI and API integrations across customers, vendors, logistics partners, and enterprise applications. The ideal candidate has strong expertise in Software AG web-Methods, AWS cloud services, scripting, API development, and enterprise integration technologies.Â
Key ResponsibilitiesÂ
EDI & Integration Management:Â
- Lead the design, implementation, and support of EDI integrations using Software AG web-MethodsÂ
- Manage EDI transaction sets, including ANSI X12 and EDIFACT documents (e.g., 204, 210, 214, 301, 310, 322, 999, and others)Â
- Develop and maintain EDI mappings, trading partner configurations, validation rules, and business workflowsÂ
- Monitor EDI processing, troubleshoot failed transactions, and ensure timely issue resolutionÂ
- Coordinate customer and vendor onboarding, testing, certification, and production deploymentsÂ
- Design and develop REST and SOAP APIs for enterprise integrations.Â
Development & Automation:Â
- Develop automation scripts using Python, Shell, PowerShell, or JavaÂ
- Automate file transfers, data validation, reconciliation, and exception handling processesÂ
- Build monitoring dashboards and alerting mechanisms for integration health and SLA complianceÂ
- Optimize integration performance and improve processing efficiencyÂ
Operational Support:Â
- Lead production support for EDI and integration platforms.Â
- Perform root cause analysis for production incidents and implement preventive solutionsÂ
- Ensure high system availability and adherence to SLA commitmentsÂ
- Maintain integration documentation, technical specifications, and operational proceduresÂ
Leadership:Â
- Lead, mentor, and manage onsite and offshore EDI developers and integration engineersÂ
- Manage project planning, resource allocation, and delivery timelinesÂ
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, customers, vendors, and IT teams to deliver integration solutionsÂ
- Establish integration standards, coding best practices, and governance processesÂ
Business and Stakeholder Engagement:Â
- Partner with corporate and regional business leaders to understand strategic objectives and translate them into actionable technology initiatives.Â
- Serve as the primary IT point of contact for EDI IntegrationÂ
- Facilitate weekly and ad-hoc meetings with business users and solution leads to review priorities, progress, and project roadmapsÂ
- Provide regular status updates to business stakeholders on project progress, risks, and delivery timelinesÂ

Technical Skills:Â
- Software AG webMethods Integration Server, Trading Networks, Designer, Universal Messaging, MWS, and API GatewayÂ
- Strong knowledge of ANSI X12, EDIFACT, XML, JSON, CSV, and flat-file processingÂ
- REST APIs, SOAP Web Services, OAuth 2.0, JWT, SSL/TLS, and API securityÂ
- AWS services including Lambda, S3, API Gateway, CloudWatch, EventBridge, SNS, SQS, IAM, and Secrets ManagerÂ
- Scripting languages such as Python, Shell, PowerShell, or JavaÂ
- SQL and relational databases (Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MySQL)Â
- Secure FTP (SFTP), AS2, HTTPS, FTP/S, MQ, and messaging technologiesÂ
- Git, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps practicesÂ
- Monitoring and log analysis toolsÂ
Preferred Skills:Â
- Logistics, transportation, or supply chain integration experienceÂ
- Experience integrating ERP platforms such as NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft DynamicsÂ
- Familiarity with cloud-native integration and microservices architectureÂ
- Knowledge of containerization technologies such as Docker and KubernetesÂ
- ITIL-based incident, problem, and change management experienceÂ
Qualifications:Â
- Master’s or bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, or a related fieldÂ
- 8+ years of experience in EDI and enterprise integration.Â
- 3+ years of leadership or management experience.Â
- Proven experience implementing large-scale EDI and API integrations.Â
- Experience managing production support, customer onboarding, and enterprise integration projects.Â
- Having hands-on experience in GIT, Product build and deploymentsÂ
- Possess technical knowledge on reviewing application architecture, design, code review etcÂ
