Summary: We are seeking a skilled and dependable Field Service Pump & Motor Technician in Scranton, PA.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Perform maintenance and repair on various types of pumps and rotating equipment
- Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with pumps and associated systems
- Conduct routine inspections to ensure proper functioning of pumps and motors
- Install, dismantle, inspect and repair in the field
- Fabricate and modify parts as needed
- Maintain accurate records of work performed and parts used
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing customer inquiries and concerns
Qualifications:
- Experience in motor and pump electrification and installation
- Laser Alignments
- Knowledge of control systems and electrical components
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and diagrams
- Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot and solve problems
- Familiarity with industrial mechanics and low voltage systems
- Excellent customer service skills with a focus on professionalism and responsiveness
- Ability to work an scheduled on call rotating emergency schedule and perform some travel
