About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Insurance Patient Account Rep to join our team at UH Newport Clinics. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing patient accounts, ensuring timely and accurate billing, and resolving any issues related to insurance claims. As an integral member of our team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the financial health of our clinic.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 2+ years of experience in medical billing and insurance claims
  • Knowledge of medical terminology and coding
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and electronic medical record systems


Responsibilities:

  • Manage patient accounts and ensure timely and accurate billing
  • Resolve any issues related to insurance claims
  • Communicate with patients and insurance companies to obtain necessary information
