ARC, in partnership with Seattle Parks and Recreation, serves Seattle by offering access to licensed childcare and a variety of recreational and lifelong learning programs, classes, and activities. As a Park Concierge in this role, you’ll be responsible for providing information to the public and providing peak and non-peak-hour support in various Seattle Parks. The Park Concierge is responsible for supporting park safety in downtown parks so that it is welcoming, and safe public spaces for all users. Expected Work Hours: Thursday - Monday, 5 days per week, day shift 30-40 hours a week depending on the season Occasional evening shifts Park Concierge Duties and Responsibilities Include: Act as an information guide, answering questions about city destinations and events. Assist with program and event management including set-up and take-down. Perform event activation duties such as manage book and game carts, set up sound systems, staging, tents, etc. Ensure event areas are clean and free of debris prior to scheduled event/activation and before departing the park. De-escalate and redirect when issues arise with park patrons.
