The Sr. Program Manager will support Amazon's physical retail stores through end-to-end pipeline expansion and enterprise development. They will manage the critical path across real estate, development, and construction workstreams—bringing cross-functional stakeholders together to deliver new store openings and remodel programs on time and at quality. The Sr. Program Manager will drive strategic planning and execution of store growth, project manage expansion initiatives across the development lifecycle, and ensure enterprise programs (including remodels) are delivered with operational rigor. They will work with business leaders to execute on short- and long-term strategies, author documents for senior leadership, identify risks to project timelines, and collaborate with internal stakeholders to build processes and tools that allow us to scale. This position is a central role in Amazon's physical retail growth planning and execution.

An ideal candidate for this role will have experience in retail real estate strategy and development, possess strong organization and program management skills, and demonstrate the technical acumen to maintain data fidelity while driving process improvements across pipeline and enterprise business lines.

Key job responsibilities
- Manage the critical path across pipeline and enterprise business lines; develop timelines, identify stakeholders, lead working groups, and hold teams accountable to delivering key inputs on time.
- Drive end-to-end workflows for store expansion and remodel programs including: real estate site criteria, store size and footprint, economic modeling (topline sales forecasting, P&L inputs), and segment share opportunity sizing.
- Own program status reporting and site-specific pipeline/enterprise reporting to senior leadership, ensuring critical milestones are understood and actioned upon.
- Author strategic and tactical planning documents for senior leadership review.
- Identify risks to project timelines and escalate to program leadership in a timely manner.
- Drive process improvements across pipeline and enterprise programs; enable operational excellence through streamlining, benchmarking, and development of key performance metrics.
- Maintain technical acumen to progress store launch and remodel programs while improving data fidelity across reporting and planning systems. Basic Qualifications: - 5+ years of program or project management experience
- Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
- Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership Preferred Qualifications: - 2+ years of driving process improvements experience
- Knowledge of general AI tools
- Experience designing, implementing, and scaling upskilling, apprenticeship, or workforce development programs across large-scale operations or corporate environments, including forecasting workforce needs and leveraging analytics to drive program decisions
- Master's degree, or MBA in business, operations, human resources, adult education, organizational development, instructional design or related field

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
