This role plays a key part in delivering high‑quality PET, PET/CT, and CT diagnostic services while ensuring an exceptional patient experience and maintaining the highest safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Utilize radiopharmaceuticals as well as oral and IV contrast agents to perform a variety of diagnostic PET, PET/CT, and CT examinations.
- Operate a multi‑slice CT scanner and power injector with proficiency and attention to detail.
- Start IVs and administer various contrast agents and radiopharmaceuticals at the direction of the physician.
- Provide patient care services as needed in a professional, compassionate manner.
- Participate in all daily duties necessary to perform high‑quality care and imaging exams.
- Deliver exemplary customer service in all patient and team interactions.
- Engage fully in a collaborative team framework while maintaining a positive approach and attitude.
- Assume responsibility for designated duties or procedures as required and adhere to all safety standards in accordance with SMC policies and regulatory requirements.

Required Qualifications:
- Successful completion of a Nuclear Medicine Technology program
- Washington Radiologic Technologist License upon hire
- Upon Hire:
- National Positron Emission Tomography Technologist - Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board --or--
- National Registered Technologist - Nuclear Medicine Technology --or--
- National Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist - Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board --or--
- National Registered Technologist - Computed Tomography --or--
- National Computed Tomography Technologist - Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board
- National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire

- 1 year of experience as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist
