Position Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and dependable Certified Medication Technician (CMT) to join our care team. The CMT is responsible for safely administering medications, monitoring residents, maintaining accurate documentation, and supporting the overall health and well-being of those we serve.

Key Responsibilities

  • Administer medications as ordered and within the scope of CMT certification. 
  • Monitor residents for medication effectiveness, side effects, or changes in condition. 
  • Accurately document medication administration and resident responses. 
  • Communicate concerns or changes in condition to the nursing team. 
  • Maintain medication and supply inventory. 
  • Follow medication safety procedures and applicable state, federal, and facility requirements. 
  • Provide compassionate, resident-centered care and support.


Requirements

 

Qualifications & Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent. 
  • Completion of a state-approved Certified Medication Technician program. 
  • Current CMT certification as required by Kentucky. 
  • Knowledge of medication administration and safety practices. 
  • Strong attention to detail, communication, and teamwork skills. 
  • Compassionate and resident-focused approach to care. 
  • Ability to meet the physical requirements of the position, including lifting/moving 50 pounds or more and standing or walking for extended periods.
