Seeking a versitale Quality Technician to join our 2nd shift.Â

What You’ll Be Doing:
Inspect material, receive components, finished products, and work-in-process to insure conformance with customer requirements, internal quality plans, and government specifications. Specific duties and job elements may vary per area supported. See attached description for details.
Earning Potential: Starting at $23.00 and goes up to $26.00/hr. (overtime as required)Â
Hours/Shift: 2nd shift  3:00PM to 1:30PM Monday to Thursday ($1.00 shift differential)Â
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Others as assigned.Â
- Assist with process capability measurements.Â
- Participate on problem-solving teams.Â
- Have a working knowledge of quality records systems.Â
- Ability to use and know the principles of digital calipers and digital micrometers. Â
- Perform basic first piece/article inspections.Â
- Ability to read and interpret basic voestalpline and customer drawings.Â
- Participate in CI Team.Â
- Demonstrates basic computer skills, knowledge and to submit data.Â
- Perform calibrations of simple mechanical or electrical controlled gages and equipment.
- Recognize quality defects and advise operator on containment policy.Â
Â
Qualifications:Â
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED); Â
- Proficient in Microsoft products and manufacturing software  Â
- Quality Experience in metals/manufacturing industry  Â
- digital calipers, micrometers, Wizard Â
- quality plans experience  Â
- product audits and raw material inspect Â
- reading blue prints and drawings  Â
- US person (as defined by EAR & ITAR requirements)Â
Â
Preferred:
- One to three years experience in Quality , ideally experience in AerospaceÂ
- Quality Planning, FMEA, Control Plans, Inspects sheets experience Â
- GD&T Knowledge Â
