What is a HR Generalist? 

A HR Generalist is a person who provides support to the Director of Human Resources. As an Onboarding & Employee Support the role will set up requests for employee access into systems required for each person's job function (Google, EPIC, Training classes, etc). This person will coordinate cross-functionally with outside IT and internal Facilities to ensure hardware set up and workspace preparation. The role will also include verification that new hires have access to all required job specific systems, and will monitor access. An Onboarding & Employee Support employee will serve as the frontline administrator for the internal HR Help Desk, responding to employee managers with all inquiries regarding system accesses. 

What Qualifications do I need as a HR Generalist? 

A HR Generalist  typically has a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. (Equivalent experience is also accepted.) The Doctors Clinic is looking for someone with experience in HR, who has a strong focus and benefits and leave administration. We are also looking for someone with proficiency in HRIS systems (ADP, Workday, Paycom) and a deep understanding of ACA, FMLA, and COBRA regulations.
