Job Description

EBAD is seeking an experienced Production Supervisor to lead Electronics Assembly Manufacturing operations within the Electronics Value Stream. This role is responsible for the day-to-day execution of production activities and the successful delivery of manufacturing objectives related to Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost (SQDC).

The Production Supervisor will provide direct leadership to Assembly Technicians while coordinating cross-functional activities with Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, Program Management, and Production Planning. This position plays a critical role in driving operational excellence, workforce engagement, continuous improvement, and on-time program execution.

This position reports directly to the Electronics Production Manager.

Responsibilities:

  • Champion a culture of safety by ensuring compliance with safety procedures, immediately addressing safety concerns and ensuring on-time completion of safety trainings
  • Drive product quality by ensuring adherence to manufacturing standards and partnering with Quality Engineering to promptly resolve nonconformances and implement corrective actions
  • Ensure production schedules and customer commitments are achieved through effective planning, coordination, and execution of daily manufacturing activities.
  • Reduce operational costs by minimizing equipment downtime, labor inefficiencies, scrap, and rework.
  • Develop and communicate daily production plans, priorities, and resource assignments.
  • Track team performance against production goals and implement corrective actions when targets are at risk.
  • Lead daily production meetings and maintain visual management systems to communicate performance, priorities, and key operational metrics.
  • Proactively identify schedule risks and collaborate with Program Management and Production Planning to develop mitigation plans.
  • Partner with the Master Scheduler to evaluate labor capacity and equipment loading, implementing solutions to address constraints or excess capacity.
  • Provide leadership, coaching, and performance management for Assembly Technicians.
  • Foster employee engagement through training, development, mentoring, and recognition initiatives.
  • Collaborate with Product Engineering to support new product introductions, manufacturing readiness, and successful program execution.
  • Work closely with Quality Engineering to facilitate timely resolution of product and process issues.
  • Partner with Supply Chain and Materials teams to establish and/or maintain effective inventory management practices and kanban systems
  • Lead and participate in root cause analysis and problem-solving initiatives to address production challenges and process inefficiencies.

Qualifications:

The successful candidate must have a minimum of 3 years of manufacturing, operations, engineering, or production leadership experience. Additionally, it is desired that the candidate has experience/education in the following areas: 

  • Bachelor's degree in Operations Management, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field; equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
  • Experience or familiarity in electronics manufacturing
  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills with demonstrated ability to lead programs / projects 
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze and solve problems
  • Established project management skills with the ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs
  • Understanding of Continuous Improvement, Lean Manufacturing practices and in-depth understanding ERP/MRP planning systems
  • Excellent verbal and presentation skills suitable for interaction with production team and with various level of management 
  • Design for Manufacturing methods and techniques
  • Strong skills in MS Windows – Excel, Word and Power-point.  Familiar with and able to work in MS Project.

Base Pay Range: $51,861 - $97,242
