Job Description

As a Security Officer Cycling Patrol in West Hollywood, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer, you will ride a bike to conduct routine patrols throughout an assigned location, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment. You will communicate professionally with visitors and staff, respond to security-related concerns, and deliver service with integrity, teamwork, reliability, and care.

Pay Rate: $22.00 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and members of the public by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of public areas, facilities, parking areas, and surrounding perimeter to help identify and report unusual conditions or activities.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures.
• Monitor access points and observe activity throughout the location, documenting incidents and completing required reports.
• Communicate professionally with site personnel, visitors, and responding public-service agencies as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must be able to ride a bike.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Possession of a guard card or license is preferred.
• Ability to ride a bike for long periods of time is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
