Position Overview

The Overnight Front Desk Agent serves as the overnight ambassador of Viceroy Snowmass and functions as the Manager on Duty during overnight operations. This role is responsible for delivering exceptional guest experiences while ensuring the security, financial integrity, and operational excellence of the resort throughout the night.

 

The Overnight Front Desk Agent completes all nightly accounting and audit functions, oversees overnight guest services, protects hotel assets, and responds promptly to guest needs and emergency situations. This position is expected to uphold Forbes Travel Guide luxury service standards by anticipating guest needs, personalizing interactions, resolving concerns with urgency, and creating memorable experiences that foster guest loyalty and satisfaction.

 

Success in this role requires sound judgment, strong organizational skills, attention to detail, the ability to work independently, and proficiency with multiple hotel operating systems. The Overnight Front Desk Agent plays a critical role in supporting revenue generation, maintaining brand standards, ensuring guest safety and security, and preparing the hotel for a successful start to each business day.

    • Pay Rate: $25.00/Hour
    • Schedule: 11:00pm to 7:30am including weekends and holidays
    • Employment Status: Full-Time Year Round

Duties
  • Deliver warm, personalized, and professional service consistent with Forbes Travel Guide luxury hospitality standards.
  • Create memorable arrival and departure experiences while efficiently completing guest check-in and check-out procedures.
  • Anticipate guest needs and proactively identify opportunities to exceed expectations.
  • Respond to guest requests, service recovery situations, and complaints promptly, professionally, and with a sense of urgency.
  • Demonstrate extensive knowledge of resort amenities, dining, transportation, activities, and local attractions to enhance the guest experience.
  • Maintain exceptional response times for all guest requests and follow through until complete resolution.
  • Maximize room revenue by identifying opportunities for room upgrades, extended stays, and ancillary resort offerings when appropriate.
  • Ensure accuracy of guest billing, folios, cash handling, credit card transactions, and financial records.
  • Complete all Night Audit procedures, including balancing daily transactions, posting charges, reconciling accounts, and preparing required financial reports.
  • Generate and distribute daily operational reports, including but not limited to Viceroy Vision, No Show, House Status, and management reports.
  • Protect hotel revenue by ensuring rate integrity, accurate reservations, and proper posting of all guest charges.
  • Operate all required hotel systems, including Opera PMS, ALICE, Microsoft Office, Micros, and other property management technologies.
  • Coordinate overnight communication between Front Office, Housekeeping, Engineering, Security, and other departments to ensure seamless guest service.
  • Support room moves, late arrivals, VIP arrivals, and special guest requests.
  • Maintain an organized, welcoming, and immaculate Front Desk, lobby, and surrounding public areas.
  • Prepare the Front Office for morning operations by ensuring reports, arrivals, departures, guest accounts, and operational information are complete and accurate.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned to support resort operations and guest satisfaction.
