As a Player Services Cashier, you will facilitate a variety of cash and non-cash transactions, assist guests with rewards program enrollment, and promote casino events and offers. You’ll play a key role in maintaining financial accuracy, safeguarding assets, and creating a welcoming environment for guests. This position requires strong attention to detail, customer service skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced gaming environment. 

Responsibilities

  • Process high-volume cash and non-cash transactions including chip redemption, check cashing, and voucher redemptions
  • Enroll guests in the Status+ Rewards program and issue membership cards
  • Promote ongoing casino promotions and explain program benefits
  • Conduct basic player evaluations and outbound scripted calls
  • Verify and distribute jackpot payments and complete required documentation
  • Maintain accountability for ATMs, kiosks, and cage transactions
  • Reconcile daily transactions and ensure accuracy of funds exchanged
  • Handle guest requests and disputes professionally, escalating when needed
  • Maintain confidentiality of guest and casino information
  • Keep work area clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards 

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • One year of cash handling or customer service experience preferred
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong mathematical accuracy and attention to detail
  • Ability to learn and explain casino games, promotions, and amenities
  • Proficient in computer software relevant to the role
  • Ability to make sound decisions in guest service situations
  • Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license and liability insurance
  • Ability to obtain and maintain licensing from the appropriate gaming authority
  • Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs. and working varied shifts including weekends and holidays
  • Comfortable working in environments with crowd noise and secondhand smoke
