The PT Airline Passenger Service Agent is a multi-functional, cross-utilized position designed to support airport operations and passenger services. Employees may be assigned to perform duties in the roles of Amenity Cart Agent, Baggage Handler, Catering Seal Breaker, Equipment Agent, Exit Guard, Lobby Agent, Manual Encoder, Wayfinder Agent, and/or Wheelchair Agent. Daily assignments, work locations, and responsibilities may vary based on operational needs, staffing 
requirements, and business demands.

Hourly Pay: $22.51

The pay listed is the hourly range or the hourly rate for this position. A specific offer will vary based on applicant’s experience, skills, abilities, geographic location, and alignment with market data.

Shift: Mon-Sun (7am-11pm) Must be flexible to work any days and hours. Open availability. Only a part-time position.

Responsibilities

General Duties/Essential Job Functions:
• Perform required equipment pre-operational safety checks at the start of each shift in 
accordance with Environmental, Safety, and Health (ESH) guidelines.
• Complies with all safety, security, compliance, and quality standards established by the 
Company, clients, and regulatory authorities.
• Perform miscellaneous or additional duties as assigned to support operational needs.
Specific Duties and Responsibilities (By Line of Service)
Amenity Cart Agent:
• Ensure carts are properly stocked, organized, and maintained to provide high-quality 
service and passenger satisfaction. 
• Receive and track incoming shipments of snacks, beverages, and other amenities, 
and deliver carts to designated gates as required.
Baggage Handler:
• Meet arriving flights and assist passengers at baggage claim.
• Carry, move, or otherwise transport passenger luggage between the airport terminal, 
baggage claim areas, ticket counters, and designated curbside or sidewalk locations.
• Assist with the proper handling of oversized luggage, including kennels, skis, and 
other special items.
• Maintain and restock baggage-related supplies (i.e tubs).
Catering Seal Breaker:
• Meet all arriving catering trucks at the designated Central Checkpoint location.
• Verify catering truck security seals in full compliance with TSA standards, Airport 
• Confirm that seal numbers and identifying information match the documentation 
provided by the catering driver.
• Conduct visual inspections of tamper-evident seals to ensure they are intact and 
show no signs of damage or tampering.
Equipment Agent:
• Manage the check-in and check-out process for operational equipment, including RF 
scanners, radios, R&D cords, boxes, and related tools.
• Ensure all equipment issued is properly documented through the established 
inventory management system.
• Conduct daily inventory counts of all equipment within the Equipment Room.
• Maintain the organization, cleanliness, and functionality of the Equipment Room.
• Receive and document incoming equipment or supply deliveries.
• Document all equipment loss, damage, or discrepancies using the appropriate forms.
Exit Guard:
• Monitor and secure designated exits, doors, stairways, escalators, and elevators to 
prevent unauthorized access to secured areas without first passing through an 
approved security checkpoint.
• Verify credentials and prevent individuals without proper authorization from entering 
secured areas while providing directions and guidance to the appropriate locations 
as needed.
• Respond promptly to security alarms, unauthorized access attempts, and security 
Lobby Agent / Wayfinder Agent:
• Verify boarding passes and/or airport-issued credentials to confirm authorization for 
access.
• Monitor and manage passenger queues to maintain optimal flow and minimize wait 
times.
• Direct passengers to designated security checkpoint lanes and provide clear 
guidance on security procedures, including removal of personal items for screening.
Additional Lobby Agent Duties
• Control access to security checkpoints in accordance with TSA security 
directives, permitting entry only to ticketed passengers, airport 
employees, and authorized personnel.
Additional Wayfinder Agent Duties
• Assist international arrivals by directing them to appropriate lanes 
based on citizenship and ensuring they have completed necessary 
customs and immigration paperwork.
Manual Encoder:
• Scan misread barcode tags to determine the correct baggage routing.
• Update baggage routing information to ensure luggage is directed to the appropriate 
destination.
• Assign rerouted baggage to the designated pier.
• Move unreadable baggage to the appropriate area for further processing.
Wheelchair Agent:
• Provide wheelchair and mobility assistance to passengers within inside and outside 
the airport terminal, including curbside, ticketing, security checkpoints, gates, 
baggage claim, and other designated areas.
• Transport passengers in a courteous, respectful, and professional manner, ensuring 
passenger comfort, dignity, and safety at all times.
• Assess passenger needs and communicate available options to support comfort and 
mobility during transport, in accordance with training and policy.

Qualifications

Required:
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred   
•  Previous customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively  

*The individual may be required to stand and/or walk for majority of the shift and perform physically demanding tasks, including climbing stairs, bending, stooping, kneeling, lifting, carrying, pushing, and/or pulling 75 pounds or more depending on assigned duties.

 Must meet all requirements to receive required airport SIDA badge and Customs Seal (if applicable), including successful completion of a background check and ten-year work history.
 Must have Customer Service experience. Must be flexible to workdays, swing or graveyard shift)
