About the Role:
Sonic Drive-In in Howell, NJ is looking for experienced, energetic team members to join us immediately! We need passionate individuals ready to hit the ground running in both our drive thru and kitchen operations. Responsibilities:
- Operate drive thru window efficiently, taking and processing customer orders accurately
- Prepare and cook food items according to Sonic's quality and safety standards
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen and drive thru workspace
- Deliver fast, friendly, and accurate customer service during peak hours
- Handle cash and digital transactions at the drive thru window
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth, efficient service flow
- Follow all food safety, sanitation, and health code guidelines
Requirements:
- Prior experience in a drive thru, fast food, or quick-service restaurant (QSR) environment strongly preferred
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume setting with a positive attitude
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Reliable, punctual, and able to start immediately
- Ability to stand for extended periods and handle kitchen equipment safely
- Flexible availability including evenings, weekends, and holidays a plus
- Must be able to work well as part of a team under pressure
