Quad is hiring four experienced Sheetfed Die Cutter Operators for night shift at our Spartanburg, SC, facility. Our 82,000-square-foot Spartanburg facility specializes in innovative packaging solutions for the healthcare, pharmaceutical, consumer packaged goods, and retail industries. Using state-of-the-art sheetfed offset, narrow-web flexographic, die-cutting, and folder/gluer equipment, our team delivers exceptional quality in a clean, climate-controlled manufacturing environment.
Pay: $21–$27 / hour, based on experience
Relocation: Paid relocation assistance available for qualified candidates
Night Shifts Available:
- Sunday–Tuesday, 6 p.m.–6 a.m.
- Wednesday–Friday, 6 p.m.–6 a.m.
Previous die-cutting machine operating experience is required.
What You'll Do
- Set up and operate sheetfed die-cutting equipment
- Verify job specifications, dies, paper stock, and production requirements
- Monitor machine performance, quality, and production efficiency
- Make adjustments and troubleshoot equipment issues
- Perform routine machine maintenance
- Stage completed work according to production instructions
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
- Cross-train and assist with training other operators as needed
What We're Looking For
- Previous sheetfed die-cutting machine operating experience is required
- Bobst 106 experience preferred; experience with other Bobst or sheetfed die-cutting equipment will be considered
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Ability to read, write, and understand English to follow job instructions, safety procedures, and production documentation
- Basic computer and math skills
- Ability to accurately read measuring devices and use hand tools
- Ability to stand for a 12-hour shift and perform repetitive hand and wrist movements
- Ability to lift 10–15 lbs. regularly and up to 50 lbs. occasionally
