Die Cutter Operator

Spartanburg, SC | $21–$27 / hr | Night Shift 

Experienced Die Cutter Operators—bring your skills to Quad and work with advanced packaging and finishing technology.

Quad is hiring four experienced Sheetfed Die Cutter Operators for night shift at our Spartanburg, SC, facility. Our 82,000-square-foot Spartanburg facility specializes in innovative packaging solutions for the healthcare, pharmaceutical, consumer packaged goods, and retail industries. Using state-of-the-art sheetfed offset, narrow-web flexographic, die-cutting, and folder/gluer equipment, our team delivers exceptional quality in a clean, climate-controlled manufacturing environment.

Pay: $21–$27 / hour, based on experience
Relocation: Paid relocation assistance available for qualified candidates

Night Shifts Available:

  • Sunday–Tuesday, 6 p.m.–6 a.m.
  • Wednesday–Friday, 6 p.m.–6 a.m.

 

Previous die-cutting machine operating experience is required.

What You'll Do

  • Set up and operate sheetfed die-cutting equipment
  • Verify job specifications, dies, paper stock, and production requirements
  • Monitor machine performance, quality, and production efficiency
  • Make adjustments and troubleshoot equipment issues
  • Perform routine machine maintenance
  • Stage completed work according to production instructions
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
  • Cross-train and assist with training other operators as needed

 

What We're Looking For

  • Previous sheetfed die-cutting machine operating experience is required
  • Bobst 106 experience preferred; experience with other Bobst or sheetfed die-cutting equipment will be considered
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Ability to read, write, and understand English to follow job instructions, safety procedures, and production documentation
  • Basic computer and math skills
  • Ability to accurately read measuring devices and use hand tools
  • Ability to stand for a 12-hour shift and perform repetitive hand and wrist movements
  • Ability to lift 10–15 lbs. regularly and up to 50 lbs. occasionally

Actual pay will vary based on experience, skills, qualifications, proficiency, performance, shift, location, and other job-related factors. Total compensation may also include overtime and shift differentials.
