Quality Analyst

Position Summary

The Quality Analyst supports the quality assurance team by ensuring that products, processes, and systems meet Performance Seats and customer standards. This entry-level role involved testing, document findings, and assisting with continuous improvement initiative. The ideal candidate has a strong eye for detail, enjoys problem-solving, and is eager to learn quality processes in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct quality inspections and audits on products, services, or processes to ensure compliance with company standards.
  • Conducts incoming inspections.
  • Maintain and keep quality cage within specifications.
  • Discards or rejects products, materials and equipment not meeting specifications.
  • Participate in MSA when necessary.
  • Sort nonconforming material
  • Create quality alerts.
  • Conduct time studies.
  • Assist in creating and executing test plans, checklists, and documentation for quality control activities.
  • Record and report test results, identifying defects or process issues.
  • Support the analysis of quality metrics and trends to identify areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams-including production, operations, and engineering-to address quality concerns.
  • Help maintain and update quality documentation, such as SOPs and inspection reports.
  • Participate in root cause analysis and corrective action implementation.
  • Support continuous improvement and compliance with ISO and other quality management standards (if applicable).
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

 

Requirements & Qualification:

  • High school diploma or equivalent qualification.
  • A minimum of 2 years\' experience in a similar role in mechanical inspection and visual appearance standards where applicable.
  • Team player with excellent communication skills, positive attitude & high attention to detail.
  • Availability to work overtime including occasional weekends, public holidays, and evenings.
  • Willingness to meet with customers on specific issues.
  • Good organizational and communication skills, personable and presentable.
  • PLEX knowledge a plus.
