PRIMARY RESPONSIBILTIES

The primary responsibilities of the Production Lead include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Lead the Production Team, including staff, contractors, key leaders, and volunteers.
  • Create and lead volunteer recruitment and onboarding with a tiered leadership/training program for people to take next steps in a safe production environment.
  • Foster spiritual growth and maintain a healthy, team-focused culture of care for one another.
  • Stay current with production trends, technique, and technology to continually enhance production and weekend experience.
  • Manage a large budget ensuring all projects remain within spending limits, tracking and forecasting hardware updates, replacements, and maintenance.
  • Oversee execution of distraction-free worship services using audio, video, lighting, broadcast equipment, stage management, set design, and technology.
  • Schedule volunteers and organize production needs for services and events.
  • Partner with Worship Pastor and speaking pastor to creatively design and implement visuals, illustrations, lyric videos, and stage design to enhance the message of the gospel.
  • Other duties as assigned.

 

EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • 3+ years experience leading staff.
  • 3+ years of experience leading live production teams in a church environment required.
  • Strong expertise in live audio with years of experience producing modern worship sound with modern technology (Digital audio consoles, Waves, Dante, DAW, Live broadcast mixing, etc)
  • High proficiency in ProPresenter, lighting consoles and set up, video switchers (Black Magic/Ross), and camera equipment.
  • Skilled in managing multiple projects and deadlines using project management software
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule for seasons of irregular work hours.
