Position OverviewÂ
The Skilled Laborer will assist in all phases of construction, renovation, and remodeling projects. This role involves supporting skilled tradesmen, maintaining job site cleanliness, and helping ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to high standards.Â
Key ResponsibilitiesÂ
- Assist carpenters, installers, and project leads with daily construction tasksÂ
- Perform demolition, material handling, and site preparationÂ
- Measure, cut, and assemble materials as directedÂ
- Operate hand and power tools safely and responsiblyÂ
- Load, unload, and organize materials, tools, and equipmentÂ
- Maintain a clean and safe worksiteÂ
- Follow all company safety procedures and report any hazards or issuesÂ
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisorsÂ
- Perform other duties as assigned to support project completionÂ
QualificationsÂ
- Previous experience in construction, remodeling, or general labor requiredÂ
- Strong knowledge in carpentry, drywall, tile preferred
- Knowledge of construction tools and materialsÂ
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn new skillsÂ
- Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license requiredÂ
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform physically demanding tasksÂ
- Positive attitude, attention to detail, and team-oriented mindsetÂ
- Punctual, dependable, and safety-consciousÂ
