Position Summary
The Financial Planner – Lead provides comprehensive financial and retirement planning services while building strong, long-term client relationships. This is primarily a non-sales role focused on financial analysis, client service, planning, and collaboration with Lead Advisors.
Key Responsibilities
Serve as the primary contact for assigned clients.
Respond to client questions, requests, and follow-ups.
Prepare comprehensive financial and retirement plans.
Analyze investments, asset allocation, and financial data.
Conduct client meetings and periodic financial reviews.
Use tax-planning tools to evaluate strategies and scenarios.
Prepare illustrations for annuities, life insurance, and long-term care.
Complete financial analyses and planning projects as needed.
Collaborate with advisors and team members on client cases.
Maintain proactive communication and exceptional client service.
Requirements
Qualifications
3+ years of financial planning experience with direct client interaction.
Series 65 or Series 66 required.
CFP® designation preferred; must be obtained within 2 years of hire.
Life Insurance license preferred; must be obtained within 6 months of hire.
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
Strong financial and retirement planning knowledge.
Advanced Microsoft Excel and analytical skills.
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining strong client relationships.
