Job Summary

The Mental/Behavioral Health Technician (BHT) tends to the physical and emotional needs of assigned clients and fosters a supportive group living environment.Ā Join us for a flexible work schedule, perfect for students, those seeking extra work, or individuals eager to gain experience in mental health and social services.

Schedule:

Full-Time Shift Options:

  • Monday-Friday Standard: 6:00 AM – 2:00 PM
  • Sunday-Wednesday Rotation:
    • Sunday: 6:00 AM – 10:00 PM
    • Monday & Tuesday: 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM
    • Wednesday: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM & 12:00 PM – 10:00 PM

  • Wednesday-Saturday Rotation:
    • Wednesday: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM & 12:00 PM – 10:00 PM
    • Thursday & Friday: 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM
    • Saturday: 6:00 AM – 10:00 PM

PRN Schedule:

  • Flexible schedules based on your availability and the needs of the campus.
  • Minimum requirement: One (1) shift every 30 days.

Responsibilities:

Provide for the physical and emotional needs of clients, including:

  • Providing meals and snacks
  • Assisting with personal care
  • Monitoring medication
  • Intervening in crisis situations

Facilitate a healthy group living experience, including:

  • Creating a positive and supportive environment
  • Managing conflict
  • Enforcing house rules

Participate in a multi-disciplinary treatment team in the care of clients, including:

  • Attending treatment team meetings
  • Providing input on treatment plans Implementing treatment plans

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED equivalency
  • Class E driver's license with good driving record
  • Strong customer service focus
  • Excellent time management
  • Oral and written communication skills
  • Word, Excel, and e-mail applications proficiency

Must be 21 years old to apply
