A Physician Assistant is an individual who is engaged in the examination or treatment of patients while under the supervision of a licensed physician.Education: â–ª Graduate of accredited physician assistant program Experience: â–ª No Prior Experience Required Skills: â–ª Self motivated individual who can work with little direct supervision â–ª Able to work independently and collaboratively in teams; tolerance for working with multiple numbers of people â–ª Good clinical expertise, communication skills, human relations skills and organizational skills â–ª Proficient computer skills Licensure/Certification/Registration: â–ª Needs to obtain PA License within 60 days of hire â–ª Successful completion of all department specific credentialing within first 90 days of employment
