The Advanced Practice Provider (APP) Recruiter will be directly responsible for developing the primary relationships with each APP introduced to Springfield Clinic. The individual will manage all aspects of the internal sourcing/recruiting process, collaborate with Springfield Clinic Physician leadership and Service Line Directors to ensure that quality candidates are sourced and presented based on qualifications and culture fit for a mutually rewarding medical practice relationship.


Principal Responsibilities
Establish rapport and effective working relationships with physicians, practice leaders and Springfield Clinic administration.
Utilize physician and provider recruitment tracking system daily to update candidate profiles, status, recruitment, and sourcing efforts. Track candidates through the recruitment process.
Prepare and maintain recruitment metrics reports for assigned regions and/or searches as needed.
Present and interpret data as part of multi-disciplinary team discussions to improve APP recruitment efforts.
Work with APP & Physician Recruitment Manager to create, maintain, and update opportunity descriptions.
Develop effective recruitment sourcing strategies to build a strong network and pipeline of candidates using a variety of databases, online job recruiting and sourcing methods and medical professional organizations.
Manage all aspects of the internal sourcing/recruiting process by communicating with candidates and leads throughout the recruitment process, coordinating all travel and site visit arrangements, partnering with community leaders to expose candidates to areas of interest, and conducting all post-visit activities such as reference checks, medical staff privileges and onboarding.
Ensure that the manager of recruitment is informed of scheduling progress and obstacles.
Assist with the candidate reimbursement process for incidental expenses incurred by candidate during interview and relocation process.
Coordinate the registration process and preparation of informational materials, for various recruitment functions to include career fairs, professional/medical meetings and conferences.
Participate in networking activities such as provider job fairs, recruiting shows, etc., as needed.
Serve as a communication conduit for Clinic departments, administration and outside agencies, always professionally representing assigned areas of responsibility and the organization.
Comply with the Springfield Clinic incident reporting policy and procedures.
Adhere to all OSHA and Springfield Clinic training & accomplishments as required per policy.
Provide excellent customer service and adhere to Springfield Clinic's Code of Conduct and Ethics Standards.
Perform other job duties as assigned.

Education/Experience
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Public Relations or Communications, HR, Healthcare Administration, or a related field of study is required.
At least two (2) years of provider recruitment, provider relations, healthcare, public relations, business, sales or marketing experience is required.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Understanding of training and licensure requirements for APPs is preferred.
Ability to work with a high degree of independence and prioritize workflow is required.
Ability to exercise initiative, judgment, discretion, and decision-making consistent with the departmental and organizational objectives is required.
Knowledge of healthcare delivery systems, as well as the local, regional and national marketplace is required.
Excellent organizational, time management and problem-solving skills are required.
Strong knowledge and understanding of provider recruitment or provider relations is required.
Knowledge of clinical and medical specialties is required.

Working Environment
