Benjamin Franklin Plumbing of Springfield is growing, and we’re looking for an experienced Residential Plumbing Technician who takes pride in both technical craftsmanship and customer service. If you enjoy solving problems, helping homeowners, and working with a professional team that values integrity and reliability, we want to hear from you.
This role is ideal for a plumber with at least 2 years of residential plumbing experience who understands that great service is just as important as great plumbing work.
What You’ll Do
- Â Diagnose and repair residential plumbing systems and fixturesÂ
- Â Install water heaters, faucets, drains, disposals, toilets, and piping systemsÂ
- Â Troubleshoot plumbing issues efficiently and provide clear solutions to homeownersÂ
- Â Perform routine maintenance and service callsÂ
- Â Educate customers on repair and replacement options without high-pressure sales tacticsÂ
- Â Maintain accurate job notes, invoices, and service recordsÂ
- Â Ensure all work meets local plumbing codes and company quality standardsÂ
- Â Maintain a clean, organized, and professional appearance at every jobsiteÂ
- Â Deliver an exceptional customer experience from arrival to completionÂ
What We’re Looking For
Required Qualifications
- Â Minimum of 2 years of residential plumbing experienceÂ
- Â Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skillsÂ
- Â Knowledge of residential plumbing systems, repairs, and installationsÂ
-  Valid driver’s license with a clean driving recordÂ
- Â Ability to lift equipment and work in crawlspaces, attics, and confined areasÂ
- Â Excellent communication and customer service skillsÂ
- Â Strong work ethic, reliability, and professionalismÂ
Preferred Qualifications
- Â Plumbing license or certification preferred (not required depending on experience)Â
- Â Experience with service software or mobile dispatch systemsÂ
- Â Strong upselling and customer education skillsÂ
- Â Experience working in a fast-paced residential service environmentÂ
