We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) Specialty to provide exceptional patient care in a collaborative, patient-centered environment. In this PRN role, you'll have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of patients and families while working alongside a multidisciplinary healthcare team committed to quality outcomes and service excellence.

What You'll Do

As an RN Specialty, you will utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care while ensuring the highest standards of safety, quality, and compassion.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive nursing care to assigned patients while maintaining professional accountability.
  • Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and interdisciplinary team members to coordinate individualized patient care plans.
  • Involve patients and their families in care decisions while promoting education and self-care.
  • Assess, document, and update patient care plans to support optimal health outcomes and recovery goals.
  • Perform safe and effective patient handoffs utilizing tools such as SBAR and bedside reporting.
  • Monitor, interpret, and communicate clinical findings, laboratory results, and diagnostic data.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation within the electronic medical record.
  • Delegate and supervise patient care activities in accordance with scope of practice and documented competencies.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives, department meetings, and professional development activities.
  • Serve as a patient advocate while protecting patient rights, privacy, and confidentiality.
  • Support a culture of safety, teamwork, and continuous learning.

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications

Education

  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.

Licensure

  • Current unrestricted Registered Nurse license in the applicable state.
  • Valid driver's license required for Home Infusion nurses.

Certifications

  • CPR certification or ability to obtain within 90 days of hire.

Experience

  • Previous nursing experience is welcome but not required.

Skills & Abilities

  • Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
  • Ability to remain calm and effective during emergency situations.
  • Knowledge of medications, treatments, patient education, and nursing procedures.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with patients, families, providers, and team members.
  • Basic computer and electronic documentation skills.
