We work for clients such as Charter/Spectrum Communications, Ziply, Wave Broadband, Wholesail, and others.   Job Description Javelin Utility Services Inc. is searching for a strong leader to serve as our Telecommunications Construction Supervisor in Springfield, Oregon. The Telecommunications Construction Supervisor is responsible for supervision of field crews for assigned client projects, accountable for managing the overall field performance. The Telecommunications Construction Supervisor must have experience in running multiple crews/subcontractors, scheduling, material ordering, knowledge of job cost, and operating equipment.   Essential Functions: Working knowledge of underground utility installation Supervise workforce to ensure maximum productivity Read and understand telecommunications schematics  Familiar with OSHA regulations / safety procedures Ability to analyze job costs, inventory materials, locate utilities and various other duties  Project Scheduling and Resource Management           Required Qualifications: Minimum of 3 years of telecommunications construction and excavation experience Minimum of 2 years supervisory experience Strong ability to perform and/or manage multiple tasks, projects, and priorities Strong leadership skills Excellent customer service skills Technology proficiency: intermediate computer skills and experience using electronic devices Familiar with a variety of the field’s concepts, practices, and procedures Preferred experience with traffic control/flaggers Proficient in understanding OSHA requirements guidelines; priority for safety Experiencing in trenching, excavating, fiber cabling, and construction equipment operations preferred Must have critical thinking & problem-solving skills Team Player Mentality Dedicated to getting the job completed and on time – devoting with high integrity Demonstrates a high level of enthusiasm for the job Job Requirements: Be able to lift and carry up to 70 lbs.
