Industrial Maintenance Technician I

Tech I Starting Pay: $22-$25+/hr
Monday-Friday 7am-3:30pm

Do you enjoy troubleshooting equipment, solving mechanical problems, and keeping operations running smoothly? Watson Custom Tanks is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Technician I to join our Facilities Maintenance team. In this hands-on role, you'll help maintain and repair machinery, equipment, tools, and facility systems that support our manufacturing operations.

What You'll Do

  • Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment and machinery issues
  • Perform repairs and preventative maintenance on production equipment
  • Inspect components for wear, alignment, and performance issues
  • Repair and install pneumatic, hydraulic, and air systems
  • Use welding and fabrication skills to repair or create parts as needed
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
  • Support facility maintenance projects and other assigned duties

What We're Looking For

  • Experience troubleshooting and repairing industrial machinery
  • Working knowledge of electrical systems up to 480V three-phase
  • Pneumatic and hydraulic maintenance experience
  • Ability to use fabrication and metalworking equipment such as lathes, drill presses, grinders, and precision measuring tools
  • Welding experience preferred
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to safety
  • Ability to work effectively with teammates across the organization

Physical Requirements

  • Stand and walk for extended periods
  • Frequently lift up to 50 pounds
  • Safely work with tools, machinery, and maintenance equipment
  • Wear required PPE, including safety glasses and steel-toe boots
