Job DetailsJob Location: Springfield, MA 01119Position Type: StudentSalary Range: $15.00 - $16.00 HourlyThe Golden Hours Programming Assistant will support planning, coordination, and implementation of campus events during Golden Hours. Golden Hours are Thursday-Saturday evenings between the hours of 8-10pm. This position works closely with the Assistant Director of Student Involvement and Programming to monitor and identify gaps in the programming calendar. The Golden Hours Programming Assistant will help track club programming and provide support to student organizations hosting events by assisting with event communication and operations.  Responsibilities:   Monitor and track club participation in Golden Hours events.  Communicate with student groups on a weekly basis about upcoming events and provide support with planning and logistics as needed.  Assist with the setup, execution, and breakdown of events.  Serve as an on-site support person during events who helps address issues that may arise and ensure that events run smoothly.  Help maintain and review the Student Involvement programming calendar to ensure consistent event coverage during Golden Hours.  Identify gaps in scheduled programming and plan or coordinate events to fill open time slots.  Provide feedback and ideas for new programs that support student engagement during Golden Hours.   ​ Qualifications Current, full-time WNE undergraduate student with a GPA of 2.8 or higher.  Strong organizational and communication skills.   Interest in event planning, student engagement, or campus programming. in event planning, student engagement, or campus programming.  Ability to work collaboratively with student organizations.  Availability to work a minimum of 5 hours per week, primarily during scheduled Golden Hours events (Thursday-Saturday evenings 8-10pm).   Strong ability to problem-solve and take initiative in a fast-paced environment.
