What You'll Do:

 

  • Prepare, enter, and deliver purchase orders, work orders, and shipping requests for parts and supplies
  • Primary vendor contact for information, pricing, availability, and vendor services
  • Review and resolve past-due purchase orders, incorrect shipments, pricing errors, and other inventory-related issues
  • File open and closed purchase and work orders
  • Primary contact for entering information into and instructing maintenance employees in the proper operation of the repair parts inventory system
  • Administer and maintain inventory of all parts and tools
  • Remove all obsolete supplies from inventory and prepare documentation for accounting to reconcile ledger
  • Review, correct (if needed), and process all purchase orders and invoices received from suppliers
  • Perform audits and physical counts of all inventory as directed by management
  • Interface with maintenance scheduler and other maintenance employees on any parts requirements or supplier issues
  • Recommend ways to improve efficiency and reduce downtime and provide optimal level of customer services
  • Always maintain a neat and clean parts room
  • Complete Grede fork truck training and hold a valid fork truck license

 

What We Need from You:

 

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Experience with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) or inventory management databases.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
