Things You’ll Do  

• Assist journeyman and lead electricians with daily electrical tasks.
• Pull wire, run and bend conduit, install junction boxes, outlets, switches, and fixtures. 
• Help install electrical panels, breakers, and lighting systems
• Use hand tools and power tools safely and correctly
• Prepare, measure, and cut materials needed for installations
• Troubleshoot basic electrical issues under supervision
• Load/unload materials and organize tools on the job site
• Follow all safety procedures, wear required PPE, and maintain a clean work area
• Read and follow written and verbal instructions, diagrams, and simple blueprints
• Support the crew with setup, cleanup, and day-to-day job site needs
• Learn and develop new skills through hands-on training each day

Requirements  

• High school diploma or GED
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
• Able to lift 50+ lbs, climb ladders, and work in confined spaces
• Strong work ethic, good attitude, and willingness to learn
• Ability to follow instructions and work safely at all times
• Basic knowledge of hand tools required; power tool experience preferred
• Ability to read simple diagrams or instructions (blueprint exposure is a plus)
• OSHA-10 certification preferred but not required
• Previous construction or electrical experience is a plus but not necessary
