Earthworks Crew Member

Description

Smith Lawnscapes LLC, a family-oriented landscape construction and maintenance company, is seeking a dependable Earthworks Crew Member to join our dedicated team. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform site preparation including grading, leveling, and excavation
• Assist with drainage systems, base materials, and site layouts
• Operate landscape & construction equipment safely and efficiently (skid steers, mini excavators, and compactors)
• Follow job plans, safety procedures & quality standards
• Keep jobsites clean and organized
• Work collaboratively with crew members to complete projects efficiently

Qualifications:

• Experience in construction, landscaping, drainage, or earthwork preferred
• Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record
• Equipment operation experience 
• Strong work ethic, dependability, and punctuality 
• Ability to perform physically demanding outdoor work in various weather conditions 
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs, bend, kneel, and perform physical labor
